Equine Therapy

Equine therapy is one method used to help individuals reach their therapeutic goals. Patients engage with horses for therapeutic purposes, often to address physical, emotional, or cognitive challenges, as well as psychiatric issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. This therapy can take various forms, including riding, grooming, and caring for horses, or simply spending time with them. Many believe that being around horses fosters tranquility, connectedness, and groundedness. Additionally, the non-judgmental nature of horses facilitates easier emotional expression.
