We all know those days only too well. The weather is not great up in the Orkneys, lots of flooding in the fields and miserable horses. We are all doing our best to keep our horses warm and comfortable on these dreadful days. One point though, horses don't feel the cold like we do. They have a different temperature range than us, which basically means that horses can tolerate more differences in cold weather than we do. With that in mind, remember that they can overheat under their blankets if not watched. This is almost as bad as being too cold, they can decrease if overheated.
